Mixture of Vedic philosophy and health practices form the basis of the activities offered at our Centre, AmruthSparsh presents a unique approach of Ayurveda with specially designed five procedures of internal purification of the body through the nearest possible route. Such purification allows the biological system to return to homeostasis and to rejuvenate rapidly and also facilitates the desired pharmaco-therapeutic effects of medicines administered thereafter. AmruthSparsh has a fully therapy role as promotive, preventive and curative procedure. According to ancient Ayurvedic scholars the elimination of the waste products of the body is termed as shodhana (purification).
PANCHAKARMA ( FIVE MAJOR PURIFICATORY THERAPIES )
- Vamana ( emesis therapy ) :
Vamana is a process in which vitiated doshas are expelled through the upper route.
- Virechana ( purgation therapy ) :
Elimination of vitiated dosha through the lower route ( anus )
- Nasya ( errhine therapy ) :
Nasya is a therapeutic measure where the medicated oil,powder,juice etc are administered through nose to eliminate the vitiated dosha situated in the head
- Basti ( enema therapy ) :
Gentle medicated enema that helps with balancing all the three doshas.
- Raktha mokshana ( bloodletting therapy ) :
Letting out the impure blood from the body is known as Raktha mokshana.It is carried out either by using sharp surgical instruments or by para surgical instrumentation ( Leeches or venepuncture )
